Frequently asked questions
Where are the uploaded images stored?
Your images stay on your own device – right in the browser you're using. They are not transmitted to us, stored anywhere, or uploaded to any cloud.
This is also true when printing: the A4 print sheet is created directly in your browser. So your images never leave your device.
That's why you'll only see your images in this one browser, not automatically on other devices. If you tap “Delete saved data” in the editor or clear your browser's storage, they are gone for good.
How do I print my sheet correctly?
In the editor, download the A4 file under “Print sheet (PDF)” and print it at 100 % (scaling: none).
That is the only way the physical sizes come out exact. Each button has a thin cut mark and a little bleed so you can cut it out cleanly.
Which image formats can I upload?
JPEG and PNG, up to 20 MB and at most 8000 × 8000 pixels.
Other formats are rejected for security reasons. On upload the image is re-encoded so that only the raw image data is kept.
Do I need an account?
No. You do not need an account and do not have to sign in – everything runs locally in your browser, and it is free to use.
What keyboard shortcuts and tricks are there in the editor?
Undo: Ctrl/Cmd + Z · Redo: Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + Z · Delete the selected layer: Delete or Backspace.
Also: edit text right on the button by double-clicking, scale and rotate layers with the handles (snaps at 45°), and simply drag & drop images onto the canvas.
